Family Time

Is there anything more important than FAMILY?

In my opinion NO! Family means everything to me. I would do anything for my family. I am thankful everyday for them. Growing up we may have fought. We may have had sock wars with the horrible deodorant bombs, we may have tickled, teased, and done what any normal family does.

But as I was growing up and siblings moved away I realized how very important they are. We always try to get together at least once a year. Now when we get together we are with each other ALL the time. So my In-Laws who married into my family it may be a little rough because not all families are like ours. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Drinks and everything in between is done together. It makes me so very very happy.

This weekend was that amazing weekend for my family. We took the camper up to my sister’s house (her family lives on a lake and was so sweet to invite us all up there). so that our family could stay there without having to get hotel rooms. The house is definitely bursting at the seems, but i don’t mind. There are 11 adults, 9 children (ages range from 13-2), and this year two dogs. There are more dogs in the family but those dogs stayed home, so it wouldn’t be chaos ;).

Look at the view.  Wow. BEAUTIFUL!!!

There have been boat rides, tubing, wake boarding, swimming, a fire, drinks, music, yummy food and a great time!

Just a reminder to all of you out there. Be Thankful for your family (blood or chosen). Tell them how you feel about them. You never know what is going to happen tomorrow, so don’t let time pass without spreading your love!

Have an amazing Sunday!
