So hubby and I went through our seed catalog. Marked everything we wanted and talked about placement, as you already know from my other blog post.
Well I sent our seed catalog with my parents to see what they want because we were just going to order it all at once, also to make sure we didn’t buy two sets of the same seeds – aka we can share!
Once we got it back we made our list and I ordered online … well most of it. The potatoes were not available yet. (It’s still early yet … but I’m ready, so I wish they were too). We submitted order and guess what hubby got in his email today – 10% early bird savings coupon email. Yep I guess we jumped the gun. But this is why I am going to journal it all this year so that I remember for next year!
So after we place our order I wanted to make a spreadsheet so I knew what we had and what year the seeds were from. I was so concerned about sharing with mom and dad that I forgot to check how many and what kinds we had…oh well! Note to self refer to that list next year before ordering.

So now I have a nice organized list that is in chronological order… or should it be in alphabetical order?!? hmmmmm. How you do other gardeners keep track? Also what do you keep your seeds in?
Anyway seeds are ordered. I will order the potatoes next week or so when they are both available. Then the next part of the waiting game begins! I am knitting to keep my hands busy. The good thing is I am a newbie to knitting as well so that helps to keep me busy as I practice that!
Ok plug for Annie’s (no I’m not paid by them) you guys I ordered on Friday and my seeds came in the mail today!!!!
*** As a side note I would still love to see beautiful snow, but if it’s not going to snow then … come on spring!!!***
