Beef Alfredo

So I am living the Keto Lifestyle. My loves are not. I also have a picky eater in the family. It can be a challenge to figure out what to make for dinner.

So I saw a couple of recipes that we tried and I tweaked. Then tonight I made a couple of extra changes and it was a hit.

We had a Beef Alfredo. Now for my loves I served it over egg noodles. They devoured it! I had mine plain with green beans. Yum!

This recipe serves 6-8 people. So I start with butter and raw onion. Once that starts to get soft I add in the beef. About half way I add the minced garlic, so it doesn’t over cook and become bitter.

After you get it all nice and brown with the grease drained off you add the seasons, salt, pepper, and oregano. then of course cream cheese and heavy cream … yes, heavy cream and cream cheese make this dish! Then we mix in the parmesan to finish off the flavor!

And re-warms really well, I had this with a different veggie for lunch … a couple of days this past week, because it is that good!


Beef Alfredo

  • Servings: 6-8

2 TBSP Butter
2 Ounces Raw Onion (about 1/4)
2 pounds Ground Beef
1 TBSP Minced Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
8 Ounces Cream Cheese
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 TBSP Parmesan

Add butter and onion to pot and cook on medium until softened. Add the ground beef and cook until brown. About half way through add the minced garlic. When fully cooked drain off the excess fat.

Once the meat is drained add the seasoning: salt, pepper, and oregano. Once those are mixed in add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Once melted in add the heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese.

Serve as is with a low crab veggie for Keto Lifestyle Dinner.
You can also serve over noodles for a non-keto dinner.
